Forest Bathing – A Green Rx Dr. John La Puma

Shinrin-Yoku, or "forest bathing," is a Japanese practice of connecting with nature and appreciating all of its elements. Through this form of ecotherapy, which part of the national health program in Japan, we can use our senses to tune into all of nature's gifts to humanity, and to our own well-being. Forest bathing reduces stress levels, lowers blood pressure, improves immunity, aids with depression, and promotes overall wellness.
